Yvonne is one of the most intelligent, actor-oriented voice directors I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

Given the option to audition on my own from home, I have always preferred recording in the booth, where she was a treasured fixture for many years, to involve her impeccable ear and instincts. Yvonne was my very first booth director when I signed with my first VO agent. I had some training but no experience under my belt. With Yvonne’s encouragement, support and guidance I was able to find my voice and my confidence in commercial, video games and animation alike. I would not be the voice actor I am today nor have most of my bookings were it not for Yvonne. I’ve had the great good fortune of working with Yvonne on countless auditions.

I always knew I could trust her to give me honest and well thought out feedback. As a booth director at my agency she led me to many successful bookings with her patient, gentle, and supportive direction. Not to mention, we always parted with solid hug sending me out into the world.

Yvonne directed countless auditions for me at my agency as booth director. And although I have a very nice quality booth at home, I always and I repeat, always, chose to drive to my agency to get her direction and insight. I come to voice over from an actor’s point of view. And Yvonne knows how to talk to actors. How to give you a suggestion that is “act-able”. Yvonne would take the audition I prepared and with a couple tweaks, comments, or raise of a wicked eyebrow, she would shape my audition into something much better than I ever could have done on my own. She also knows current trends and buzz words. Put it all together and it’s a pretty splendid combo.
